Step-by-step guide to replacing sprockets

1.  Preparation

Make sure your motorcycle is placed on a stable stand.   Disconnect the battery to avoid accidental starting.

 2.   Remove the old sprocket

-Front Sprocket: Use a wrench to remove the bolts holding the front sprocket cover.   Loosen the sprocket nut and slide the sprocket off the shaft.

- Rear Sprocket: Loosen the axle nut and remove the rear wheel.   Unscrew the bolt holding the rear sprocket in place and remove it.

3.   Install new sprocket

- Front Sprocket: Slide the new sprocket onto the axle and secure it with the sprocket nut.   Make sure it is tightened to the manufacturer's recommended torque.

- Rear Sprocket: Place the new sprocket on the hub and secure with bolts.   Reinstall the rear wheel and tighten the axle nut.

4.  Adjust the chain

If necessary, use a chain breaker tool to adjust the chain length.   Make sure the chain is properly tensioned and lubricated.

5.   Final inspection

Check all bolts and nuts carefully to make sure they are securely tightened.   Reconnect the battery and test ride your motorcycle to make sure everything is running properly.
